We hereby invite you to write reviews of any of our offerings you may have experienced (and for that matter, you’re welcome to review Ariana'sbooks— and beyond them, now that we think about it, we encourage you to write Killianesque reviews of literally -anything- on Amazon, or why not, on Yelp, on Reddit, on whatever agglomeration of product or service reviews that persists in the commons as “free speech”).
For inspiration, we give you Ruby Spies, who won the 2025 Kevin Killian Memorial Scholarship ($777 in value) with this over-the-top roast of our enterprise.
You'll earn $15 in Killian Dollars for each review you write-- they can be earnest, they can be wacky-- and we’ll thank you with a gift card, good for anything we offer
Killian, who died in 2019, was a New Narrative icon who published numerous books of fiction and poetry, as well as plays, plus, with Lewis Ellingham, the definitive biography of poet Jack Spicer, and yet he still found time to contribute thousands of product reviews to Amazon, 487 of which are included in this book. To put that into perspective, including the introduction by the poet, artist, and critic Wayne Koestenbaum, the afterword by Dodie Bellamy—another New Narrative paragon and Killian’s wife of more than thirty years—and an exhaustive index, this hefty tome is just over seven hundred pages and weighs 2.37 pounds, or roughly the equivalent of two fifteen-ounce cans of Read-brand German Potato Salad (★★★★★).
